In-Person Learning

This class is a gentle introduction to a classroom environment. Caregivers accompany children for each class. During our time together, children have the opportunity to explore our beautiful indoor and outdoor play spaces. Each week you come to preschool with your child to help facilitate activities at an assigned station along with the Instructor. Stations include free play areas, art, science/sensory, dramatic play, blocks, parent education, circle time, and outdoor play, and manipulative toys. During circle time, the instructor leads the class in music, movement, finger plays and stories. free play/

Parent Education

Caregivers are also students at Bothell Family Cooperative Preschool. As an affiliate of Shoreline Community College (SCC), members participate in parent education. We place a high value on exposing caregivers to best practices that will support and equip them on their journey. Caregivers will have the opportunity to explore, practice and observe ways of learning and growing with children and adults. Learning is done in the classroom during scheduled parent education time, working with children, evening meetings and community connections. Families pay an annual SCC tuition, which is then used to subsidize educators' salaries.
