Starting in October, an informal "sharing" activity will take place as children arrive at school. Before the children go inside the building, they may share an item with teacher Kathy and other classmates that are arriving around the same time. Sharing is an opportunity for children to practice listening to and talking with a small group of peers. Here are some suggested ideas for each week:
- Week of Oct 6, Anything about insects or spiders
- Week of Oct 13, Bring something with a pumpkin or bat on it
- Week of Oct 20, Wear something orange on Orange Day
- Week of Oct 28, Wear a costume on party day
